What a month this has been!

After realizing that I haven't made a blog entry in quite some time, I thought that I should get to work on it.

This has been a very busy month. On December 19th, I was ordained into the Holy Priesthood by His Grace, Bishop MERCURIUS of Zaraisk at St. Nicholas Russian Orthodox Cathedral in New York. Just a few days later, Fr. Andrey received word that he was being temporarily reassigned to the San Francisco cathedral, and I was left to tend to the spiritual needs of the parish.

It has been a busy month, to say the least, but the love and support I've received from the parish has been astounding, and has made my transition a smooth one. I thank God for allowing me to serve SS. Peter and Paul Russian Orthodox Cathedral, were I have a lifetime of fond memories and whose parishioners have always been, and shall always be, close to my heart.

I hope there will be time for me to keep this blog going on a regular basis, but in the mean time, I just wanted to post a few words of gratitude to all of you, and to give Glory to God,who has provided so many wonderful and caring people with whom I can carry out the work He has appointed me to do.
